More than Couple's Therapy or Relationship Coaching

Like many of us, I didn't grow up knowing how to express myself, communicate my emotions or needs, and certainly didn't know how to have a good relationship.  As a first generation Taiwanese immigrant, I felt out of place and disconnected from myself.  At the age of 17 I met my ex-husband, then for the next 10 years I experienced emotional/verbal abuse, gaslighting, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, homelessness, and became an equally toxic partner repeating destructive cycles. 

Through all the chaos, I somehow was able to complete a Master Degree in Clinical Psychology, and became a mother to 2 boys.

When I eventually left my ex-husband at 27-years-old, I continued to struggle with PTSD.  Meeting my husband Brandon 1.5 year after my divorce -- much of my wounds are still raw and fresh despite having the knowledge and tools as a therapist.  That is not until I stumbled upon Somatic Therapy, embodiment practices, Internal Family Systems, shadow work, and some other concepts/teachings that transformed my healing journey.

Now as a licensed marriage and family therapist, I am here to bring the same integrative approach to women and/or couples to experience their most desired, harmonious and passionate relationship.
